Topi Keskinen, a 21-year-old player who recently joined Aberdeen from HJK Helsinki, has received his first call-up to Marko Kanerva’s squad. Despite playing just two games for Aberdeen, Keskinen’s impressive performance led to his inclusion in the squad.
He expressed his fondness for British football and shared his childhood admiration for Manchester United and Rooney. Additionally, Keskinen mentioned his love for fishing and his intention to get meaningful tattoos.
During his time at HJK Helsinki, Keskinen made an impact by scoring 14 goals and helping the team secure the Finnish championship. His performance against Aberdeen in the Europa Conference League caught the attention of the club’s management.
Following his full debut and a victory in the SPL, Keskinen has been rewarded with his first call-up to Finland’s squad after representing the country in eight matches at the Under-21 level.
