James Maddison speaks out about being dropped from the England team and criticizes the decision for Euro 2024.

James Maddison has expressed his disappointment at being dropped from England’s Euro 2024 squad. He believes that he deserves to be a part of Gareth Southgate’s team in Germany. Maddison, along with Curtis Jones, has left the England camp after being informed of their exclusion from the squad. Maddison was substituted in a friendly match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Jones remained an unused substitute.

Despite the setback, Maddison has expressed his determination to return to the national team in the future, expressing his hope for success in the sport. Both Maddison and Jones will not take part in the upcoming friendly against Iceland and have been told that they will not be included in the final 26-man squad submitted by Friday evening. Southgate has until 11pm on Friday to submit the final squad to UEFA, with the announcement of the 26-man selection scheduled for Saturday morning.
