Real Madrid wins La Liga title as Jude Bellingham and co profit from Barcelona slip-up.

Bellingham’s first ever league title win marks a significant achievement in his career, adding to his previous trophy of the Spanish Super Cup in January. Girona, now second in the league after surpassing their opponents, showcased an impressive performance by scoring three times in 10 second-half minutes to lead 4-2 against Real. Real’s prolific second-half display against Cadiz at the Bernabeu resulted in a victory, with goals from Braham Diaz, Bellingham, and Joselu.

Meanwhile, Barcelona faced Griona at Estadi Montilivi, where an early goal from Christensen was countered by Dovbyk, and Lewandowski put Barcelona back in front. However, Girona fought back, scoring the equaliser and taking the lead with Gutierrez’s goal. The match concluded with a spectacular effort by Portu, securing Girona’s win.

As Barcelona failed to mount a comeback, they dropped down to third place. With four games left in the fight for second place, the competition remains fierce.
