Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool signing requests contract termination to secure departure – Mirror Online

Former Liverpool star Luis Alberto has requested to terminate his contract with Lazio in order to find a new club. During his time at Liverpool, he made few appearances and was sent on loan to other clubs. Despite his struggles at Liverpool, he found success in Serie A, spending eight years at Lazio, making over 300 appearances and winning the Coppa Italia. However, a recent defeat to Roma has led him to consider his future at the club.

In a statement, Alberto expressed his gratitude to the Lazio fans and the club for their support during his time there, but indicated that he will not be part of the club’s future project. He plans to step aside and leave room for others to take his place. Alberto also praised the Lazio fans and vowed to continue giving his best on the pitch until the end of his time at the club. In addition to the statement, there is an invitation to join a new WhatsApp community to receive daily Mirror Football content and special offers.
