Alf-Inge Haaland responds to rival Roy Keane’s comment about his son Erling being a League Two player.

The Norwegian achieved the treble in his first year in England with City and the team is still aiming to retain all three trophies. However, the recent match at the Etihad was a forgettable outing for the striker, as Keane criticized his lack of influence on the game. Keane emphasized the poor general play of the striker and expressed the need for improvement. Despite the criticism, Erling is still the top scorer, indicating that his performance may not have been as bad as perceived.

Keane’s feud with Haaland Sr. dates back to 1997 when Alf-Inge accused Keane of diving, leading to a well-documented conflict. The tension escalated when Keane caused an injury that effectively ended Haaland’s career, and the two remain at odds to this day.
