Jurgen Klopp comments on Jadon Sancho’s departure from Man Utd, calling him “useless” – Mirror Online

The £72million asset, Jadon Sancho, found himself on the sidelines at Manchester. After being left out in the cold, he was eventually reintegrated into the first-team group during the summer. However, he has now headed to west London on loan, with Chelsea having an obligation to buy him. This marks the end of Sancho’s underwhelming stint at Manchester.

Jurgen Klopp, though, believes that Sancho should have been given more support before being sold. He expressed his disagreement with the approach of other clubs, criticizing the idea of buying a player for a large sum and then sending him out on loan. Sancho’s time at Manchester United saw him score only 12 goals. United’s sporting director, Dan Ashworth, explained that the decision to let him go was influenced by the club having numerous options in their attack.

This was evidenced by Sancho being overlooked for matchday squads by manager Ten Hag, indicating his limited game time. Ashworth elaborated, “We felt we had enough depth in that particular position to be able to cover it, we’ve got four really good wide players, Jadon was a fifth, and it just enabled us to make that decision.” Additionally, the text includes a promotional message about special offers and promotions for the community members from the organization and its partners.
