Robbie Savage’s Plan for Man Utd: 15 Exits & 7 Signings, Including Tottenham Star – Mirror Online

The majority of the United squad is reportedly available for sale, or the club is open to offers for a significant portion of the first-team squad. With co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s refurbishment nearly complete, major changes are expected for the team. United’s under-achievement over the past decade has been attributed to inconsistent recruitment and a lack of playing ethos.

While it may not be straightforward, shipping out around a dozen to 15 of the current first-team squad is the desired approach. Although acquiring these players may not be easy, they would bring the attributes of pace, youth, dynamism, and quality needed at Old Trafford. Isak, a standout performer at Newcastle, and Van de Ven, a left-sided center-back with pace, are highlighted as priorities.

Similarly, Olise is viewed as destined for a bigger club than Palace, and United should make their move soon. In terms of the existing United squad, the goalkeeper Andre Onana, full-backs Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw, and several center-backs are considered worth retaining. However, a number of other players, including Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jonny Evans, and Tyrell Malacia, are suggested to be let go.

In midfield, a select group of players are recommended to stay, while others like Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and others should be departing. As for the forwards, Marcus Rashford is highlighted to be kept, whereas several others, including Anthony Martial, Antony, Mason Greenwood, and Shola Shoretire, are advised to be let go. The potential overhaul is anticipated to bring about significant change, potentially impacting the team’s immediate success.

The need for major changes at Old Trafford is emphasized due to the team’s underperformance in the Premier League and the Champions League. The anticipation is that Sir Jim’s overhaul is just beginning.
