Salah has 24 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances for Liverpool this season. However, his contribution to the team has been questioned recently.
In February 2021, after a match at West Ham where he scored twice in a 3-1 win for Liverpool, Salah was labeled as greedy by Graeme Souness. Souness even suggested that Sir Kenny Dalglish would have fought with Salah had he played alongside him.
Gary Neville also joined the discussion with a different perspective on the greedy accusation. Neville said that Klopp’s departure could keep Salah at the club despite the argument.
He expressed concern that if the manager leaves, it could cause problems for Salah for the rest of the season. If you want to stay updated with Mirror Football content, you can join our new WhatsApp community and enjoy special offers, promotions, and adverts from us and our partners.
