Arsenal are hopeful that Martin Odegaard will not face a lengthy lay-off following an ankle injury he sustained while on international duty with Norway in their Nations League game against Austria. Norway team doctor Ole Sand has predicted that the lay-off could be around three weeks, and there are concerns that he may struggle to be fit for next month’s internationals. However, an MRI examination in London has indicated that there is likely no fracture in the ankle. Following the injury, Odegaard returned to England and underwent a scan, which confirmed that there was no fracture.
Arsenal are now managing his rehabilitation process. Odegaard’s absence for several weeks or a month would be a significant loss for Arsenal, as he is an important player for the team.
