Former West Ham and Fulham star John Paintsil has been involved in a horrifying car crash and rushed to the hospital. It is believed that Paintsil was travelling back to the capital city of Accra with Addo and goalkeeping coach Fatawu Dauda after watching a cup final on Saturday when the accident occurred.
The three men were taken to the hospital, and the Ghanaian FA provided an update stating that they are in a “stable condition” following treatment. The statement mentioned that the vehicle carrying Head Coach Otto Addo, Assistant Coach John Paintsil, and goalkeepers trainer Fatawu Dauda avoided a head-on collision with a pickup truck that veered off into its lane, causing some damage to the vehicle.
All three members of the technical team are in stable condition and will undergo further medical assessments upon their return to Accra. Photos of the car show significant damage to the side of the car, with the back rear wheel completely missing and the bodywork on the left passenger door ripped off.
John Paintsil retired in 2016 and became assistant manager of the Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa the same year. The text also contains unrelated promotions, offers, and adverts which do not relate to the main information about the car crash and are not relevant to the situation at hand.
