I arrived here with the plan to stay for just a year, but ended up staying for four years, along with my family. My sons play for Chelsea, which brings me great pride as a part of the Chelsea family. I hope they can continue their careers at this successful club that many players aspire to join. During these four years, I always gave my best, but as everything has a beginning, middle, and end, this is not a definitive ending.
I hope to leave the possibility open for a return in the near future, possibly in a different role. The love I have for this club is indescribable, and I can only express my gratitude. Despite the initial lack of fans in the stadium due to the pandemic, the support I received through social media and the eventual return of fans made my time here very special. It’s difficult to say goodbye even under normal circumstances, but it’s even harder with mutual love.
Once a Blue, always a Blue. The club has supported me, and I have grown into a leadership role within the group, despite initial challenges in integrating. Lampard played a significant part in this, and I am grateful to him for it. My time here has been a dream, and I hope to see you again in the future.
