Former Red Devils winger Ryan Giggs and his 36-year-old girlfriend Zara Charles are reportedly expecting a baby later this year. Giggs has two children from a previous marriage, while Zara is already a mother of one. Friends close to the couple have expressed their excitement and anticipation for the baby’s arrival. According to a source, Giggs initially had concerns about how his children would react to the news, but they have gotten to know and like Zara over the past few years and are happy because they see that Giggs is happy.

In a separate development, Giggs had previously pleaded not guilty to charges of controlling or coercive behavior towards his ex-girlfriend, Kate Greville, as well as assaulting Ms. Greville and her sister, Emma. These incidents occurred during a dispute at his home in November 2020. However, Giggs was cleared of the allegations after the Crown Prosecution Service withdrew the charges during a pre-trial review at Manchester Crown Court. Currently, Giggs has resumed his involvement in football as the director of football at Salford, marking his first job in the sport since stepping down as the national team boss in June 2022.

Giggs and other United legends each own 10% of the club, with the remaining 40% being held by Singaporean businessman Peter Lim.
