Erik ten Hag confirms major Man Utd change after dressing room criticism – Mirror Online

Erik ten Hag’s side played in various locations across the United States during their summer tour, following matches in Oslo and Edinburgh. The club has confirmed five fixtures for the summer of 2024, including matches against Rosenborg in Trondheim and Rangers in Edinburgh.

Ten Hag has assured that the upcoming tour will be less taxing on the players, with a longer stay at the base camp and a focus on playing strong opponents to prepare for the season. United will begin their pre-season tour without players involved in the latter stages of Euro 2024 and the Copa America, with both tournaments concluding on July 14.

This will provide some respite for those involved in the international competitions from the demanding travel schedule. Eriksen expressed that the previous summer’s tour involved excessive travel and a strenuous game schedule, despite the team’s efforts to perform well.

He noted that better fitness levels have made the approach to upcoming games feel more manageable. If you’re interested, you can join our new WhatsApp community to receive daily Mirror Football content and exclusive offers, promotions, and advertisements from us and our partners.
