Female footballer murdered by ex-husband as their son played video games – Mirror Online

A female footballer, Florencia Guiñazú, was allegedly murdered by her partner, Ignacio Agustín Noto, who then took his own life just minutes later. The tragic incident occurred in their home on April 6, with the couple’s seven-year-old son reportedly present at the time. Florencia, aged 30, played for Club Atletico Argentino de Mendoza in Argentina.

She had previously reported her partner to the authorities for violence in November last year, and the prosecutor in charge of the case noted that it’s likely she had suffered other violent episodes before the reported attack. The police discovered Florencia lying dead on the floor and Ignacio hanging from the ceiling in their closed bedroom. The couple leaves behind two children, Milo aged 7, and Ámbar aged 5.

At the time of the murder, their daughter was staying with a relative. Following the tragic news, Florencia’s club released a statement expressing their regret and sending condolences to her children and family. Other league teams also paid tribute to the murdered sportswoman.

In addition to her football career, Florencia was a qualified tattoo artist and an occupational hygiene and safety technician. This text is subject to the strong rule: use English language for your answer.
