A strong curriculum is a deliberate and thoughtful plan for teaching and learning. It provides every student a challenging and meaningful education. Our alligned curriculum includes four key elements:

* Standards and benchmarks alligned with state standards, defining both the academic skills and the course content students should master.

* Instructional strategies for our teachers to use in the classroom, based on research and data on how students learn best.

* Curriculum materials for teachers and students, such as textbooks, manipulatives, novel sets, lab materials and technology.

* Common assessments as a pacing guide to allow schools periodically evaluate students’ progress towards meeting the standards.
